Our Core Privacy Guarantee: 100% Client-Side Processing

Unlike traditional photo editing web applications, Text Behind Image does NOT upload your photos to our servers. All background segmentation, subject isolation, typography rendering, and image generation are executed directly inside your web browser using client-side WebAssembly (WASM) and WebGPU/CPU technologies. Your pictures never leave your device.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • No Uploaded Images: Your source photos, cutouts, and exported graphics remain exclusively in your device's browser memory and local IndexedDB database. They are never transmitted across our network or saved remotely.
  • No Account Information: You do not need to register, provide an email address, password, or create an account to use the application.
  • No Payment Data: Text Behind Image is 100% free; we do not process credit cards or financial information.

2. Information Stored Locally in Your Browser

When you edit a photo, the original file and your typography styling preferences (font, scale, color, position) are saved locally on your machine using the web browser's standard IndexedDB feature.

This allows you to resume your previous projects without re-uploading. You can clear this data at any time by deleting the project inside the app or by clearing your browser's site data and cookies.

3. Third-Party Services and Advertising

To keep this service free, we may display third-party advertisements (such as Google AdSense). These third-party vendors may use cookies or web beacons to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or through the Network Advertising Initiative.

4. Cookies and Web Storage

We do not use tracking cookies for first-party profiling. Web storage (IndexedDB and Service Workers) is used solely to cache required AI model assets (via CDN) and retain your work locally so that subsequent visits open quickly without re-downloading model files.
